I have just learnt how toFind fractions of whole number amounts using x and ÷ eg In The RainForest. 2 fifths of 125$ = 50$ - First find 1 fifth 125 ÷ 5 = 25 is 1/5 because we want to get 2/5s I would double it or 25 x 2 so 2/5 of 125 = 50
